Virtual Design Charrette

What is a Charrette?

A charrette is a design workshop where stakeholders work together to develop collaborative plans and concepts. At the upcoming Virtual Design Charrette, we’ll share our ideas for the streetscape plan and design standards based on public input received so far, and you’ll get the opportunity to advance the draft designs and amenities for the boulevards.
This Design Charrette built on what we learned in our Discovery Charrette in June 2020.

Thank you for joining us on October 14th and 15th, 2020!

Day 1: Wednesday, Oct 14

5 PM – 7 PM: Street
Design and Amenities

We shared results from our design preferences survey and reviewed potential options for street furniture. Participants workshopped where and how amenities should be placed along Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard.

Day 2: Thursday, Oct. 15

4 PM – 6 PM: Mobility Hub

We shared the feedback we’ve heard so far about a future Mobility Hub near the Wilshire/La Cienega station. Participants gave further input on what amenities are needed for people traveling to and from the new rail station.
